The traditional ceremony honoring labor collectives and employees of Solikamsk enterprises, “We Glorify Labor in the Spring Flowering”, was held at the Palace of Culture “Prikamye”. Well-deserved awards were presented to the best papermakers – those who work every day for the good of the mill, our district, the region, and the country.
The ceremony was opened by Alexander Rusanov, Head of the Solikamsk Municipal District, who emphasized the importance of every worker’s contribution:— Thank you to all residents for your labor and sincere love for our small homeland! Thanks to each of you, our district is developing. Special gratitude goes to the older generation, who laid the foundations of the district’s industrial strength, and to the young people, who confidently continue the labor traditions. I wish that every endeavor brings joy and success, and that peace, prosperity, and mutual understanding always reign in your homes.
The Diploma of Public Recognition is one of the most prestigious awards that confirms the high achievements of a labor collective. This year, it was awarded to the team of professionals of the Laboratory and Technical Control Department (LTCD) of JSC “Solikamskbumprom”. The head of the district presented the well-deserved award to Tatyana Sommerfeld, the Head of this department, and Elena Ershova, Chairperson of the Shop Trade Union Committee, Chemical Engineer.
— We are glad that the work of our team has been so highly appreciated, — said the LTCD employees. — Ever since the enterprise was launched, our department has been the main quality expert; our word determines the reputation of the products we make. The department’s work covers all stages of the production process: fr om the acceptance of raw materials and supplies to the evaluation of finished goods. We are the first to introduce the latest methods so that the enterprise’s technological processes meet international standards.
A truly friendly and reliable team has formed at LTCD, wh ere stability combines with rich experience, and professionalism with the personal responsibility of each member. The key goal for the future that the employees of this structural unit set for themselves is to maintain an active lifestyle, maintain and develop the team’s traditions, ensure the transfer of experience and knowledge to young specialists, and instill a sense of responsibility for the overall result. They are confident that this is the only way to ensure continuity, cohesion, and sustainable development of the team.
One by one, the best of the best took to the stage – recipients of Letters of Gratitude from the Perm Krai Council of Trade Unions, the Coordinating Council of Trade Union Organizations of the Solikamsk Municipal District, and the Head of the Solikamsk Municipal District. The year 2026 has been declared the Year of Perm Industry, and May 1st is another opportunity to say “thank you” to the true workers of the district – those whose daily labor creates the present and future of Solikamsk.
An honorary award for the Equipment Technical Diagnostics Laboratory (ETDL) was accepted on behalf of the team by its head, Alexey Sandrakov.
According to Alexey Mikhailovich, the ETDL team is a well-coordinated team of professionals; every employee is devoted to their work and focused on the common result. The structural unit has collected many awards at various levels, and behind each one is the daily labor for the good of the native mill.
— We strive to perform all tasks assigned by management clearly, with high quality, and on time. And we succeed, — emphasized Alexey Mikhailovich. — I congratulate the laboratory team on this well-deserved award. I am proud of you! I wish you continued success.
Many kind words were addressed to the Solikamsk papermakers from the stage. It is well known that people with a special character work at Solikamskbumprom – people devoted to the common cause and carefully preserving the values of many generations.
— This year Solikamskbumprom celebrated 85th anniversary. All these years we have not only produced high-quality paper, but we have also treated nature with care, carried out responsible timber harvesting, and restored forests every year, — said Alexey Yugrinov, paper machine operator at PM No. 3. — A particular source of pride is our labor dynasties – whole families dedicate their lives to the common cause. We honor traditions and value those who achieve success, pass on experience to the youth, and work in production for many years. We are all one big team of papermakers!
Genuine workers are the true pride of Solikamsk. We live in an industrial city, and its development depends entirely on every employee. Among them are not only well-known people whose names have already entered the history of Perm industry, but also those who represent the future of our district, region, and country – those who come to their workplace every day and honestly perform their difficult but important job.
