A series of festive events dedicated to the Anniversary of the Great Victory took place in Solikamskbumprom. The workers of the enterprise gathered together to honor the memory of the heroes who gave their lives for our future.
From early morning, the atmosphere of solemnity was set by the "St. George’s Ribbon" campaign. Accompanied by the melodies of wartime songs, students on industrial internships presented paperworkers orange-and-black ribbons—a symbol of the heroic feat of the victorious generation.“Wearing the St. George’s Ribbon is a personal duty for me,” shared Elena Usanina, Deputy Head of the Forest Management Department for Forest Certification. “It’s my tribute to my relatives who fought for our freedom and to all the heroes of that victorious generation.”
Following tradition, employees and guests of the enterprise gathered at the Monument to Fallen Warrior-Papermakers to once again express their respect and eternal gratitude to the departed heroes.
— Victory Day is our main holiday, a day of common memory and eternal gratitude, — emphasized Natalia Stupnikova, President of JSC Solikamskbumprom. — For 80 years, we have carefully preserved the historical truth about the great feat of the Russian people. The victors of 1945 gave us the future, paying an exorbitant price for it. Among them were the employees of our enterprise. More than one and a half thousand paper workers went to the front, and those who remained in the rear, worked without sleep or rest, providing the front with everything necessary. Their names are forever inscribed in the history of Solikamskbumprom...
As a sign of deep gratitude to the greatness of the papermakers' feat, employees of the structural divisions whose workshops celebrate their anniversary in 2025 laid wreaths at the foot of the Monument.
Children of the employees, educatees of the Solikamsbumprom Children Development Center, placed flowers at the Monument and gifted handmade presents to the company’s labor veterans, creating one of the most heartfelt moments of the meeting.
With photos in their hands, excitement in their voices and pride in their hearts, the paperworkers marched in the column of the Immortal Regiment. Each portrait in the hands of the participants is a story, a memory of courage and fortitude of relatives and friends.
— The Immortal Regiment is millions of stories that cannot be lost. There are heroes of the Great Patriotic War among my relatives. I am proud of them and immensely grateful. Their Victory is in my memory forever! — says Veronika Ershova, Data Entry Specialist, JSC “Solikamskbumprom”.
Special words of support were addressed to those who today defend the Motherland during the special military operation. As part of the rally, a solemn award ceremony was held for Alexander Kashlyakov, a paper worker who died heroically while fulfilling his military duty. The Order of Courage was presented to the family of the hero by Alexander Rusanov, Head of Administration of Solikamsk Municipal District.
— Many Solikamsk residents sacrificed themselves so that we could live in the world we have now. Our duty is to remember their great feat and self-sacrifice, - emphasized Alexander Anatolyevich.
Over the years, JSC “Solikamskbumprom” has formed its own glorious traditions. We pass on to the youth the historical truth about the Great Patriotic War, carefully keep the names of our heroes, and collect information about the papermakers who contributed to the Great Victory. Thus, on May 7, a new museum exposition “We Remember, We Are Proud” was opened on the territory of the enterprise, telling about labor dynasties founded during the Great Patriotic War. You can touch the history by visiting the excursion, which will be held on May 12 at 12:30.
