JSC Solikamskbumprom has an automated system of pre-trip, pre-shift, post-trip and post-shift medical examinations. This approach ensures objective assessment of employees’ vital signs and, most importantly, it helps to form the habit of taking care of their health.
— Today, two devices are installed on the territory of the enterprise: one in the clinic, the other in the control room of the timber carrier shop, — says Lyudmila Busygina, a nurse at the clinic of JSC Solikamskbumprom. — Each employee needs from two to five minutes to undergo the examination. During this time, several indicators are assessed: pulse, blood pressure, thermometry, absence of alcohol vapors in exhaled air. If all the data is within the normal range, the device “issues” a permit, with a mark on admission to the trip or work.— if it has to be done, it has to be done, — says Denis Vdovkin, a loader driver from the shipping department, shares his impressions in a few words. — I take care of my health: my blood pressure is normal, my temperature is normal, so I'm positive about the innovation.
Now those drivers who previously did not consider it necessary will have to monitor their health, because any excess of the baseline level becomes the basis for suspension from work.
