On April 14, a meeting between the labor collective of JSC Solikamskbumprom and Irina Ivenkikh, a Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, took place.
Irina Valentinovna is well-known political figure, Deputy Chairperson of the State Duma Committee on Education, and a member of the United Russia faction.
The meeting was held in the format of an open dialog, where paperworkers asked questions on the most pressing topics: education, health care and housing and utilities. Special attention was paid to education, as this is the key area of work of the Committee, which is represented by Irina Ivenskikh.Irina Valentinovna is well-known political figure, Deputy Chairperson of the State Duma Committee on Education, and a member of the United Russia faction.
Natalia Bogatyreva asked an interesting question concerning higher education:
— Children of participants in the Special Military Operation (SMO) have special advantages when entering universities, in this regard, will the competition for ordinary applicants increase? Or will the universities allocate additional budgetary places?
— Additional budget places are allocated for SMO participants and their children, which do not affect the competition for other applicants in any way. This allows us to support those who defend the country without infringing on the rights of other students, — replied Irina Ivenkikh.
This question became the starting point for discussion of an important topic - human resource potential. Irina Valentinovna shared the prospects and results of work in this direction, noting the growing interest in secondary vocational education:
— An important question arises: does everyone need higher education today? The country urgently needs skilled workers. And what is especially important is that today people have gone to secondary vocational education (SVE). Just recently, we have removed the university entrance exam for graduates of secondary vocational education. Now a student, having graduated from college, can continue his education, moving on to higher education in the same field without taking the USE, having passed only internal tests. This is the way of becoming a professional. But not all students choose universities. Many continue to work in the specialty obtained in college. I would like to note separately that today students are interested in studying in secondary vocational education institutions. The chain of interaction “college-enterprise” makes learning exciting and practice-oriented. This approach helps young people to enter the profession faster and provides the country with qualified personnel ready for real tasks.
Irina Valentinovna also spoke about the current experiment in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Lipetsk region:
— Under new rules, 9th graders entering 10th grade take four exams as before, but those choosing secondary vocational education take only two main exams. In Moscow, on the first day of the experiment, 460 people decided to enroll in SVE by writing an application. Young people choose colleges and technical schools. And this is good, because this is our human resource potential.
The meeting also addressed housing and communal services (HCS) and urban improvement issues, a concern for many Solikamsk residents. Vladimir Kem, Head of the IT Department and a deputy of Duma of Solikamsk Municipal District addressed Irina Valentinovna with this question. He proposed separating funding for public spaces and residential courtyards under improvement programs. He highlighted that federal subsidies for urban improvement have remained unchanged since 2021. The prices for construction materials and services are rising, so the number of projects implemented annually decreases.
Irina Ivenskikh explained that it is not planned to divide the funding within the program, but the issue of increasing the amounts for the improvement of public spaces and residential courtyards will be raised by her in the State Duma Committee on Housing and Utilities.
At the end of the meeting Irina Valentinovna emphasized that JSC Solikamskbumprom rightfully holds leading positions in its industry. She noted that the enterprise not only successfully implements large-scale modernization projects, but also stands out among its competitors with its full production cycle and focus on sustainable environmental policy. Irina Valentinovna expressed her special gratitude to the President of the company Natalia Stupnikova for careful preservation and continuation of the glorious traditions of the enterprise, which make “Solikamskbumprom” not only a successful business, but also an important part of life of each employee and his family.
The meeting was an important step to discuss actual problems and find solutions. The dialogue between the labor collective and Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ivenskikh I.V. was undoubtedly useful to all participants.
