JSC “Solikamskbumprom” took part in the RosUpack exhibition, which was held on June 17-20, 2025 in Moscow at the “Crocus Expo” IEC.
This is the largest packaging industry event in Russia and the CIS countries, which presents various types of finished packaging, as well as raw materials, materials and equipment for its production. More than 600 Russian exhibitors, foreign companies from China, Turkey, India, Saudi Arabia and Brazil placed their stands in two exhibition pavilions and six halls.
For the second time, Solikamskbumprom acted as a full participant in the exhibition. The delegation, which included heads of technical services and specialists from the department of product shipments and sales to the domestic market, the department of prospective development, representatives of “SOPAPEX” LLC, was headed by the President of JSC “Solikamskbumprom” Nataliya S. Stupnikova. The main tasks of the working group were: promoting new types of products, strengthening business ties with buyers of products and suppliers of materials, equipment, spare parts, familiarization with technical and technological innovations.
During the four days of work at the stand of Solikamskbumprom, active work was carried out with visitors: potential buyers were introduced to samples of the company's products, demonstrated its consumer properties and advantages, and talked about the conditions of production and supply of products. All scheduled meetings and negotiations were held, and during the business program of the Packaging Manufacturers and Consumers Forum, managers and specialists took part in conferences, seminars and discussion sessions, where they discussed forecasts for the development of the packaging market and the consumer sector, current experience in solving import substitution problems in packaging production, and much more.
The event's immediate participants told us how successful it was.
- The exhibition showed that our products are in demand both in foreign and domestic markets, - noted Tatyana N. Sommerfeld, Head of the Laboratory and Technical Control Department. - In addition to buyers of finished products, we are approached by suppliers of chemicals, manufacturers of packaging, equipment - everything related to the full production cycle. And here we get acquainted with new products that can be useful to us in our production.
- Time will tell how effectively this exhibition was held. During the exhibition days, a number of preliminary agreements were reached, which we will detail later, - commented Sergey E. Dukki, First Deputy Director - Head of the Department of Product Shipments and Sales to the Domestic Market. - Our stand aroused particular interest among foreign buyers. Both current and potential partners came. “SOPAPEX” specialists conducted a large number of negotiations.

It is immediately obvious that the company is serious - it works not only for profit, but also for the people. This inspires great confidence in us for cooperation for many years.
In 4 days of productive work:
- more than 600 visitors to the company's stand;
- more than 200 booklets with product samples were handed over to the visitors of the stand;
- more than 50 meetings and negotiations.

- With production capacity of ≈ 500 thousand tons per year, our company provides ≈ 30% of newsprint and interliner output in the country, of which more than 85% is exported. Due to the quality of our products, regular and timely deliveries, and well-established service, JSC Solikamskbumprom has managed to create its own brand in the Russian and export markets. Paper is exported to China, India, Turkey, the CIS countries and the Middle East. In the context of global challenges caused by geopolitical changes, the company has managed to build flexible management of product deliveries to world markets, develop alternative transport routes, and maintain long-term relationships with product buyers and transport and logistics companies. A large number of useful and at the same time friendly meetings during the exhibition allowed us to be convinced of the correctness of the chosen strategy for promoting the company's products.
