20 employees of Solikamskbumprom successfully mastered new professions

Training took place at Solikamsk Technological College, a long-standing and reliable partner of the company in training qualified personnel.

Thanks to Solikamskbumprom’s participation in the “Personnel” national project (federal project “Active Measures to Promote Employment”), workers have the opportunity to learn new professions free of charge, without taking time off from their main jobs.

One of the first to enter the classroom was Shahin Tahir oglu Mehdiyev, a debarker operator at the wood preparation section of the raw timber production. He has now mastered the profession of electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.

- I enjoy learning,- the young man admits. - Having related professions increases my demand in the labor market and provides opportunities for professional growth. As soon as information about the new group's recruitment appeared, I immediately agreed. Today, I'm very happy to receive my certificate.

Alexander Prutov, an electrician for the repair of electrical equipment at the power shop, also considers this training useful:
- I needed the training to continue working as an electrician, gain new skills, and develop in my profession. It helped refresh my knowledge and learn something new. Besides, it is always helpful to look at your work with fresh eyes – the college instructors provide both theory and practical advice that can be immediately applied in the workplace.

Interest in the program is growing every year. Four students took the courses in 2024, ten in 2025, and 20 people took the desks this year. The trend is obvious: Solikamskbumprom employees strive to be professionals in their field and remain in demand in the modern labor market.
